6th Annual Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference

Science, Culture and Society: Experiencing Engagement, Engaging Experiments

May 1 & 2, 2015

This year’s conference focuses on the ways in which we do research through both experimentation and experience. We invite researchers to present their research in any field through the framework of interdisciplinary engagement by asking the following questions: How can we make scientific experiments more culturally relevant? How does experiential research relate to scientific experimentation? Can experiential research and scientific experimentation meet each other and transform the way we learn about and understand the world, the land and the communities that we are part of? In the spirit of interdisciplinary inquiry, we invite proposals across all disciplines.
