Anderson Araujo (Ph.D. Western University; M.A., H.B.A. [With High Distinction] University of Toronto) teaches modernist literature and Twentieth-Century British and Irish literature in the Department of Critical Studies. His research engages the intersections of aesthetics and politics in Transatlantic Modernism. He has published articles on avant-garde movements and modernist writers, including Ezra Pound, T. S. Eliot, Virginia Woolf, and Richard Aldington. His book-length monograph, A Companion to Ezra Pound’s Guide to Kulchur is forthcoming jointly with Clemson University Press and Liverpool University Press. He is currently writing a book on modernist cultural politics and the Spanish Civil War.

A recipient of the 2014 FCCS Teaching Innovation Award, Anderson encourages active, dialogical participation in the classroom. He views teaching and research as a seamless conversation to advance intercultural awareness, cross intellectual and disciplinary boundaries, and promote creativity in language and media use.
