Background

I taught for 4 years at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and 1 year at UBC-V (Asian Studies and the Centre for Intercultural Communication) before coming to UBC Okanagan. I also worked in community/internet radio in Kobe, translated manga, and freelanced in curriculum and visual design for e-learning.
