Biography
Dr. Stacey Koosel is an art historian and contemporary art curator who manages the Public Art Collection at UBCO. She has worked as the curator of the Kelowna Art Gallery, and as an independent curator who has collaborated with international artists and institutions. She has published books, articles and magazines about art, and has given art history and curatorial studies courses in Canada, Estonia, Finland and Iceland. She is passionate about contemporary art, and is currently researching UBCO’s Public Art Collection, and the vibrant Okanagan artistic community.
