The annual Student Okanagan Film Festival continues a tradition of celebrating emerging student filmmakers of the Okanagan Valley.
The festival showcases short films from a wide range of genres including mini-documentary, experimental, music videos, animation, short narrative & more. This is a great chance for student filmmakers to see their films or videos on a big screen.
When: Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m.
Where: University Theatre, ADM 026, UBC Okanagan
Deadline: Submissions for this festival are being accepted until April 15, 2025.
Eligibility: Filmmakers must be a registered student in the Okanagan and the work completed in 2024 or 2025.
Entries from the the 2022 annual Student Okanagan Film Festival were screened on April 27th at the Mary Irwin Theatre.

They’re producing their work on computer monitors, so a movie screening—with their peers—is an awesome opportunity. Last year’s program was amazing.
